It was my birthday month in March and I was turning 38. One of my longtime friends and I had not hung out for quite awhile and since her birthday is in March as well, we decided to celebrate it. At first we didn’t know what we were going to do. We tossed around ideas of doing a dance workout, go to dinner, watch a movie, but once we got in her car, I asked her, can we just go UBEREating?
She had joined UBEREats a few months before and I had noticed all her fun posts of her UBEREats Adventures and I wanted to join in. So she took me and I was hooked. So I asked her if it was possible for me to sign up. I signed up that night. There was a promo (and still is as I’m typing this right now), that if you refer someone, after your first 20 deliveries, you will receive $100 and the person who referred you would receive $250.
After work, I would go UBEREating, and it didn’t take me very long to hit 20 deliveries, I did it in two days. The first day I did 9 deliveries and the second day I did 13 deliveries. I noticed that I didn’t get the money posted, so I touched base with UBER Help to get that sorted out. It turned out that my friend accidentally gave me the wrong promo code, she had added an extra letter that wasn’t supposed to be there. But UBER Help was so responsive, and within two days of reaching out, the money had posted.
The main reason I joined UBEREats was to help raise money for a church building. Then decided that it would also be great to raise money for other organizations. Since I’ve joined, I’ve recruited other people that I thought would enjoy doing UBEREats. I’m going to put my referral code here if you want to use it. I think it may only work if you’re in the Washington State area. If you decide to use my referral code, please let me know by sending me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can help you out in any way I can during your UBEREats adventures.
